Crazy Night One – Notes

April 14, 2010

Beverly Hills opened a Glass Stiletto

Rick was the interim manager there

He built it from the ground up, construction to grand opening, everything

Two weeks into it, he invited me to come by and check it out

Beverly Hills didn’t like it much sitting in between a FCUK and a DKNY. So it became a bikini bar.

There was stairs that lead down to the thump thump. It felt like a speakeasy. A little dirty. Illegal. Sexy.

Two stages. Seven different rooms. A full bar because it was a bikini bar. Velvet chairs. Crushed velvet curtains. Bumping music from wall to wall.

Madison came with me in short shorts and a white tank top. She was off. Rick was off, too. We came to party.

We got drunk for free. We ate for free. We got dances for free. Kind of. We sat at the front of the stage and two blondes did their show. No nudity. Just a lot of insinuation. Madison’s drunk ass jumped on stage. Joined in the fun. Everyone was watching. They played with me. They played with Rick. We were the kings.

After the set, we took them to the back. No cameras. Didn’t fuck. But fucked around. Cocaine. Drink. Shrooms. Weed. Hot.

Woke up the next morning at Rick’s house. His wife made me pankcakes. I left at eleven to get to work at the Glass in the Valley.

I think this is what an account of crazy night would be like, kind of fast-paced, more descriptive than anything and a bit hazy the day after because of drunkenness. This is an interesting decision as far as writing, it seems very informal and I’m just confused by the use of the word “notes” in the title because I’m not sure if these are notes for something that you want to expand or notes for what the narrator did.
